Notice regarding recruitment of Steno-typist and Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator in Office Of Advocate General, Punjab

It is to inform all the candidates who have applied for recruitment of various posts in “Office of Advocate General, Punjab” that we have received a large number of applications for the post of “Steno-typist”. It is very likely that if the skill test is conducted first, number of candidates who will qualify the skill test would be more than number of category wise posts of “Steno-typist” and in that case written test will have to be conducted. So due to large number of applicants, the department has decided to conduct the written test in Step - 1. Fifteen (15) times of the category wise no. of posts candidates will be called for step – 2 i.e. skill test. Skill test shall be of qualifying nature. Among those, who qualify the skill test, three (3) times of the category wise no. of posts candidates will be called for step – 3 i.e. interview. Final merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured in the written test and interview of all the candidates who will qualify the skill test. There will be a single written test for the post of “Clerk-cum-Data Entry Operator” and “Steno-typist” on 24th June, 2018. Detailed schedule of the recruitment is hereunder
